Overview

Entails working with the ground handler to supervise check-in, ramp and baggage operations for the arrival and departure of United flights and ensuring vendor compliance with all security requirements and regulations. Meeting, boarding flights and assisting customers wherever required. Other duties including back office administration and full operational supervision to ensure the smooth and professional service to our customers, both internal and external

Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent school leaving certificate required
Certification
  • International GSC qualified preferred
Knowledge/Skills
  • Proven track record of reliability required
  • Professional image and appearance required
  • Strong communication skills required
  • Public contact experience is essential
  • Fluent in English (written and oral) required
  • Fluent in some of the local dialects (written and oral) preferred
  • Working knowledge of the region and have some exposure to all areas of airport operations preferred
  • Flexible approach to work standards and duties required
Experience
  • Public contact experience required
  • Working knowledge of the region preferred
  • Some experience in all areas of airport operations preferred
Other
  • Must be able to live and work in Nigeria without visa sponsorship or support required
  • Must be able to work any shift/any day including holidays, weekends and/or nights in a 24 hour operation
  • Regular attendance and punctuality in accordance with United's policies is required
  • Attendance is required at work location
