This experienced professional will be supporting asset integrity and delivery projects from the front-end through execution and commissioning towards value maximisation. She/he will be responsible for delivering safe,cost/schedule effective and efficient projects; and will be looked up to as important contributors to ongoing projects realization and strategic cost leadership practices within the Deep water Projects organisation. We therefore need competent Nigerian Engineering professionals with deepwater experience who have spent at least 8 years (post-NYSC) focused on practicing the discipline

  • A Bachelors Degree in Engineering, plus minimum of 15 years experience in Construction related activities, with at least 10 years experience directly related to offshore construction.
  • A good understanding of Industry, DEPs and Shell construction Standards related to deepwater facilities, with the ability to challenge same if needed.
  • Played a significant role on a major project.
  • Familiar with project development challenges in Nigeria or in other regions with similar challenges.
  • Demonstrated capability to proactively implement plans, follow through with sustained execution, and to meet project milestones.
  • Good supervisory qualities and experience, including good communication skills.
  • A strong proactive commitment and demonstrable effectiveness in HSSE management is essential. .
  • Demonstrated evidence of Enterprise first values and behaviours will be taken into account during the selection process.
  • Proven ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team as well and to work independently with a minimum of supervision.
  • Ability to deal with multiple, often conflicting, goals and priorities
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in driving change.
  • Strong interpersonal skills – able to influence and develop relationships across disciplines and culture, be comfortable coaching and motivating others, and delivering through others.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Skillful at leading through influence.
  • Values and is open to listening to stakeholders perspectives, maintain composure under pressure while providing clear and decisive leadership
