The Women’s Health and Action Research Centre (WHARC) invites from self-motivated, innovative and proactive individuals to fill the post of Internal Auditor for its Benin offices. Closing date for submission is July 20, 2012.
The position holder will be responsible to the Executive Director and the Board of Trustees, and will ensure adequate internal financial control system in the centre. S/he will ensure compliance with the internal control system of the centre, and ensure that financial reports are accurate by carrying out substantive tests on them from time to time. S/he will also contribute to the preparation of the annual audit work plans and ensure that expenditure is in line with the approved budget.
Requirements
Possession of a B Sc. Degree or Higher National Diploma in Accountancy
Knowledge in use of accountancy software e.g. Excel or Peachtree
Experience working in a similar position will be an added advantage
