The Nigerian Society of Engineers is also known as NSE. The NSE is the umbrella organization for the Engineering Profession in Nigeria. The Nigerian Society of Engineers looks after the professional needs of members through well structured programmes and regular interactions among the different cadre of membership, enhancing high professional standard and ethical practices.
Established in 16th February, 1958 by a group of young Nigerian graduate engineers and students in the United Kingdom, the NSE was inaugurated at the Nigerian House in London. The Society is registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission as a company Ltd by guarantee.
