Population Council Nigeria is looking for dynamic, visionary and result oriented people to fill the position of Technical Advisor – MARPs for Abuja (Nigeria).
Requirements:
Relevant degree in public health, epidemiology, applied epidemiology, social sciences, epidemiology research methods or other relevant degrees.
An MPH degree is preferred
Five years of experience in developing and providing capacity strengthening suing evidence based approaches and three years of HIV and AIDS program design and management. Knowledge and experience in working with must at risk populations and in developing MARPs-focused behavior change interventions is preferred
Written and spoken English excellent
Strong scientific and commercial communication skills
Willingness to travel with in the country and across the region on a regular basis
High degree of independence, creativity and commitment
Strong interpersonal, supervisory, and organizational skills
Excellent writing, editorial, statistical analysis and commendation skills
Previous NGO experience provides added advantage
Experience with and a high degree of competency suing Windows-based computer programs and the internet
