This client is a Media and Advertising Agency with operations spread across South Africa, Nigeria and Ghana. They seek applications for the post of DTP (FA Artists) to support their rapidly expanding advertising operations.
The primary responsibility of this position is to finish and touch up all graphic design jobs according to Clients specifications, for visual communications media.
Requirements
Create artwork according to clients requirement i.e. touch up/ resize/ Amend/ FA
Produce artwork & assist in printing & finishing work from start to finish
Seven to ten years experience in a similar position
Work long hours and meet deadlines are both a must
Experience with Corel Draw, Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design, Flash, PowerPoint and other relevant programs
Working knowledge of colour separation & printing and desktop publishing
Ability to manage a project from concept through production, in multiple media
Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high pressure environment
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to work with Art Director, account executives and possibly even the client to move the projects from concept to completion
Strong leadership–able to lead teams in brainstorming and concept development
