A Leading Engineering Construction Co. Recruit Front End Shovel Loader

A leading Engineering Construction company to recruit a Front End Shovel Loader for their project operations in Nigeria. Candidate will be responsible for the Operation of Front End Shovel Loader: Caterpillar/Daewoo/ Komatsu Type machinery. Set up or inspect equipment prior to operation

REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of O’ Level Certificate (SSCE)
Minimum of 6 – 7 years experience in the civil construction industry
Knowledge of operating front end shovel loader caterpillar/daewoo /komatsu machinery
Ability to track machinery faults and recommend necessary maintenance task.
Good communication skills

Other Responsibilities

• Move levers, depress foot pedals, and turn dials to operate power machinery, such as power shovels, stripping shovels, or scraper loaders.
• Receive written or oral instructions regarding material movement or excavation.
• Become familiar with digging plans, machine capabilities and limitations, and with efficient and safe digging procedures in a given application.
• Observe hand signals, grade stakes, or other markings when operating machines so that work can be performed to specifications.
• Move materials over short distances, such as around a construction site.
• Operate machinery to perform activities such as backfilling excavations, and removal of ground materials.
• Lubricate, adjust, or repair machinery and replace parts, such as gears, bearings, or bucket teeth.  (Advantage)
• Create and maintain inclines and ramps, and handle slides, mud, and pit cleanings and maintenance.
• Drive machines to work sites
