Air Energi is 1 of the world’s biggest staffing and manpower agencies in the world and they are looking for a Fabrication Engineer (Job Reference: Req//013740) for their large client in Nigeria. This position is a long term contract (52 weeks) in Nigeria. Below are the skills needed to be considered?
Experimented Engineer with at least ten years experienced in the oil & gas industry for the fabrication of offshore structures
Experience in other contractor such as Technip and Saipem is recommended
Curious, proactive avec very good technical skills. Good reporting skills.
English (good level in french is appreciate)
Knowledge of standards rules such as API, AISC, DnV, AWS...
Knowledge in fabrication methods, welding, material and NDT. Good knowledge of coating.
Safety Leader.
Able to manage a multidisciplinary team : Fabrication Engineers, Safety Engineer, QC/QA Engineer, riggers, Material trackers, Logistics, ….
Knowledge in FAT and SIT and lift plans.
The job holder will act as site representative in the fabrication yard. Candidate will follow the fabrication, FAT, SIT and load-out on a day to day basis. The role holder will issue daily, weekly and monthly progress of the fabrication. The successful candidate will be the active link between the fabrication yard, the final customer and the project team based either locally or in our Suresnes Office.
The Engineer can have some contractual responsibilities for approval minor changes. The Fabrication Engineer will need to report all non-conformances and major variation orders.
If offshore period are scheduled, BOSIET is required and is at your charge.
The candidate would need to have at least 10 years in this or a very similar field. And also 3,2 CSWIP.
Going to be based on site with possible missions Offshore.
With an eighteen month minimum contract and excellent rates of pay also.
