Adexen Recruitment Agency is mandated by a leading Industrial Company to recruit an Electrical Maintenance Manager (EMM) (Job reference no: NGA1079) for its Nigerian operations. The role is based in Lagos.
The EMM will be responsible for factory maintenance functions and ensure that the machines are available for optimum utilization. The job holder will manage twenty to thirty people and should be electrical oriented with strong automation & PLC system maintenance experience. The position will report to the Factory Manager.
The responsibilities for this office shall include but is not limited to the following:
- Responsible for operations of specialized equipments
- Coordinate and supervise the activities of the maintenance department in the factory.
- Ensure compliance with technical safety rules and regulations and also the group's specific rules for safety and health.
- Prepare reports on production and machines conditions.
- Ensures the production preventive maintenance is strictly adhered to by the maintenance team according to the production maintenance manual.
- Receives and carries out instructions from the Factory Manager and gives feedback on the performance of the production machines.
- Coordinates and supervises the annual heavy maintenance of production lines as scheduled by the Factory Manager
- Works hand in hand with the Production Manager to achieve an effective quality assurance status for different levels of production
- Monitors the use and inventories of maintenance supplies and equipment and initiates reordering when necessary.
- Attends weekly operational meetings in the factory and crosscheck to endorse the Daily Time Distribution report
Qualifications & experience
B.Eng in Electrical engineering from any reputable university
Candidate must have five to seven years practical experience on similar role in an industrial or manufacturing company
Good knowledge of industrial automation.
Highly Analytical skills with passion for growth
Good Interpersonal and Communication skills.
Ability to work with less supervision
