Adexen Recruitment Agency is mandated by an FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) marketing company to recruit a Financial Controller for their operations. The company majors in trade marketing of cosmetic brands as well as the retail operations of lifestyle brands.
The job holder will be responsible for financial reporting, cost control, budget, treasury and accounting procedures of the organization. The role is based in Lagos.
Requirements
- University degree in Finance/Accounting or Economics and a Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
- Professional qualification (Chartered Accountant or similar professional Audit qualification will be an added advantage).
- Minimum of six to ten years of relevant experience in a financial department is required.
- Demonstrable knowledge of advanced Excel functions to perform data analysis/test automated controls. Knowledge of any accounting software is an added advantage
- Possess strong data analysis and/or technical skills to analyze complex business data
- Good organizational skills and ability to work proactively without close supervision.
- Strong judgement and decision making skills.
- Strong project management and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to change and multi task.
- Strong team player, able to build and leverage relationships across the organization.
- Ability to manage conflict and work under pressure.
- Strong oral and written communication and negotiation skills, with proven ability to influence opinion at the highest level.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
