Aero Contractors Airline is recruiting to fill the position of TECHNICAL LIBRARIAN into its technical department. The position is based in LAGOS, NIGERIA.
Positions Description:
- Ensure that relevant documentations, current (revised) are on-board the aircraft in their proper places by doing routine checks.
- Keep a file with revised contracts held including the notices of renewal.
- Responsible for controlling revision contract (new contract and renewal) in cooperation with logistics section.
- Verification of revised status of documentations at regular intervals with vendors.
- Handling and receiving of incoming publications and distribution to relevant users accordingly.
- Distribute revised digital publications (CD/DVD) with approval from the head of department. These include installation of manuals into technical/h (intranet) where all technical personnel in fixed wing can assess them at any location in our facility including mma2.
- Assist the quality control inspectors on any area of relevant documentation that may be needed during c of renewals by NCAA.
- Attend to auditors and let them know with proofs that publications used for aircraft maintenance are current and available.
- Liaise with other departments for the purpose of keeping current publications.
- Carry out any other assigned duties as directed by the tm, BMM, DBMM, engineers and other departmental managers etc.
Requirements
2-5 yrs cognate experience in aviation technical library.
Experience in technical publications and documentation.
Competencies
- Must be proacytive with good communication skills.
- Ict proficiency.
- Knowledge of technical manuals and publications and aircraft manufacturing details.
- Knowledge of inventory and control of manuals and publications.
- Familiarity with company’s manuals, technical publications and manufacturer manuals.
- Working knowledge of aircraft operations, aircraft operational procedures.
- Researching and cataloguing skills
