The Institute of chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) has recruitment for the position of Director of Abuja Liaison (DAL) (Ref: IC4).
The position reports to the Deputy Registrar Admin Services). The Director of Abuja Liaison (DAL) ensures adequate presence and representation of ICAN as well as engagement of relevant stakeholders in Northern Nigeria through effective alignment of the programmes and activities of the Secretariat in Lagos with those carried for the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja and other states in the North.
Skills/Competencies
Good networking and social skills, confidence, diplomacy, good relationship management and communication skills with strong negotiation and management capacity. The role also demands good strategic orientation, demonstrated capacity to engage stakeholders and ability to work under pressure with knowledge of activities of government establishments! other public institutions and the Institute operations.
Experience & Qualifications
- Min. of good 1st degree
- MSc, or MBA will be an advantage
- Candidate must have minimum of 10 years relevant post professional qualification experience
