The Electoral Institute (EI) is an organ of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) which is responsible for training for elections and electoral research. Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidate for fill the position of Director - General into the Electoral Institute.
Requirements
- PhD with ten years post qualification experience in the Social Sciences or humanities with robust publications and research;
- Ability to initiate and implement research that would add immense value, to the fulfillment of the core mandate of the Commission and electoral governance in general.
- Capacity to attract fund to execute the core mandate of the Institute;
- Capacity for team work, good judgment and resourcefulness.
Condition of Service
Remuneration shall be as provided for in the relevant laws and conditions of service of Chief Executives of Government Parastatals and Agencies or as may be determined by the Commission from time to time. Upon appointment, the Director- General holds office for a term of four years in the first instance which may be renewed for a second and final term of four years.
