REQUIREMENTS & JOB DESCRIPTION
ORGANIZATION STRATEGY & WORKPLANS
Vacancy Description: The job holder will be reporting to the Team Lead, Research and Corporate Strategy, the successful candidate will have primary responsibility for driving the formulation, monitoring and evaluation of NIMC’s Corporate Strategy. In addition, he/she will assist the Team Lead, Corporate Strategy by ensuring that NIMC Management and participants in the Identity Management sector have access to relevant, reliable and timely information and analysis on the industry.
Requirements: A good first degree or its equivalent in Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance or other relevant fields. A minimum of 5 years' relevant post-qualification experience or 10 years' relevant experience in the Civil Service. Good knowledge of research, data analysis and project monitoring methodologies.
TEAM LEAD, CORPORATE STRATEGY
Vacancy Description: The job holder will be reporting to the Head, Research and Corporate Strategy, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving the formulation, monitoring and evaluating the Commission’s Corporate Strategy. An essential role will be to participate in research, as well as present recommendations on strategies for the effective regulation of the Identity Management sector based on changes in Identity Management and developments across the world.
Requirements: A good first degree or its equivalent in Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or Finance. A minimum of 8 years’ relevant post-qualification experience or 16 years’ experience in the Civil Service. Strong practical knowledge of research, data analysis and project monitoring methodologies.
TEAM LEAD, RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT
Vacancy Description: The job holder will be reporting to the Head, Research and Corporate Strategy, the successful candidate will be responsible for data gathering and synthesis towards providing accurate and credible information for NIMC's Research and Strategy functions. Critical tasks will be to design research instruments, including questionnaires and surveys, manage research projects and specialised surveys, as well as work in close partnership with external research firms and government analysts in the course of the research.
Requirements: A good first degree or its equivalent in Management, Business Administration, Accounting and Finance, Public Administration or other relevant fields. A minimum of 8 years’ relevant post-qualification experience or 16 years’ relevant experience in the Civil Service. Strong quantitative, research and analytic skills. Good knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of research analysis. Strong appreciation of the principles of economics and regulation of the Identity Management industry.
TEAM LEAD, KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT
Vacancy Description: The job holder will be reporting to the Head, Research and Corporate Strategy, the successful candidate will be responsible for the securing and ensuring access to the Commission's knowledge repository. This role encompasses managing the NIMC library, particularly planning, organising and coordinating library services. A major focus will be to develop concepts, practices, techniques and innovations to improve the quality, productivity and variety of library services in the Commission.
Requirements: A good first degree or its equivalent in Management, Business Administration, Library Science and Public Administration Management. A minimum of 8 years’ relevant post-qualification experience or 16 years’ cognate experience in the Civil Service. Good organisational, research and analytical capabilities.
