REQUIREMENTS & JOB DESCRIPTION

HEAD, FINANCIAL SERVICES

Job Description: The successful candidate will reporting to the Head of Department, Finance and Investment, the successful candidate will direct, coordinate and provides direct oversight of the operations of the unit and directly manage the work activities to ensure that operational results are met. He/she will assist in analyzing and consolidating all cost accounting procedures together with other statistical and routine reports.

Key Requirements: A good first degree (or its equivalent) in Accountancy, Finance or related business field, ICAN, ACA, ICMA, or similar professional certification in the Accounting Field. A master’s degree will be an added advantage. A Minimum of 10 years' post-qualification experience or 20 years in the Civil Service, with at least 5 years’ experience in senior management role(s) in a similar organisation. Good knowledge of various software and Enterprise Resource Planning Software such Oracle or SAP is essential

HEAD, TREASURY SERVICE

Job Description: The successful candidate will reporting to the Head of Department, Finance and Investment, the successful candidate will have primary responsibility for treasury processes, controls and analysis. This includes cash management, financing and investing activities. He/she will enforce policies and procedures related to treasury processes and work with the Head of Department to establish and maintain a beneficial relationship with lending institutions, stakeholders, and the financial community.

Key Requirements: A good first degree (or its equivalent) in Accountancy, Finance or related business field, ICAN, ACA, ICMA, or similar professional certification in the Accounting Field. A master’s degree will be an added advantage. A minimum of 13 years' post-qualification experience, with at least 5 years’ experience in senior management role(s) in a similar organisation.. Good knowledge of various software and Enterprise Resource Planning Software such Oracle or SAP essential

PARTNERSHIP SUPPORT BILLING & COLLECTIONS

Job Description: The successful applicants will reporting to the Senior Manager, Partnership Support, Billing & Collection, the successful candidate will provide analysis and input into the determination of various NIMC accreditations, license and other fees, levies and charges. He/she will monitor compliance with approved service charges, and competition in the identity management sector especially in the provision of person identification verification services and ensure compliance with market rules and sector regulations.

Key Requirements: A minimum of 4 years' relevant post-qualification experience, with at least 3 years' professional experience. A good first degree (or its equivalent) in Accountancy, Finance or related business field, ICAN, ACA, ICMA, or similar professional certification in the Accounting Field.

CASH MANAGEMENT

Role Summary: The successful candidate will reporting to the Senior Manager, Treasury Services, the successful candidate will identify, analyse, sell and support cash management services. He/she will manage and ensure updated procedures and related computer application systems, assist in coordinating the implementation of cash management activities, as well as consolidate all cost accounting procedures.

Key Requirements: A good first degree (or its equivalent) in Accountancy, Finance or other related business fields. ACA, ICMA or similar professional certification(s) is essential. A minimum of 13 years' post-qualification experience with at least 6 years' relevant professional experience.

HEAD, STORES MANAGEMENT

Role Summary: The job holder will reporting to the Head, Financial Services, the successful candidate will plan, organise, direct and control activities related to the Stores function. He/she will oversee effective record keeping of incoming and outgoing stock of equipment and supplies to ensure accountability, accuracy and proper authorization for issues. He/she will also standardise procedures to improve efficiency of store management.

Key Requirements: Strong knowledge of the key procurement requirements and policy administration in the identity management sector and the Federal Government’s contracting procedures. A minimum of 10 years' relevant post-qualification experience, including at least 5 years' professional experience.. A good first degree or its equivalent in Purchasing, Management, Administration, Accountancy, Economics, Information Technology.

TREASURY ACCOUNTANT I BANKING

Role Summary: The job holder will reporting to the Senior Manager, Treasury Services, the successful candidate will be responsible for determining funding sources and investing excess cash in the capital market. He/she will assist in evaluating NIMC's financial position and preparing periodic reports on its financial stability, liquidity, and growth.

Key Requirements: A good first degree or its equivalent in Accountancy, Finance or other related business fields. ACA, ICMA or similar professional certification(s) in the accounting field is essential. A minimum of 10 years' relevant post-qualification experience and at least 5 years' professional experience

BUDGETING & BUDGETARY CONTROL

Role Summary: The job holder will reporting to the Head, Financial and Budgetary Control, the successful candidate will assist in effective management of financial planning and accounting practices in furtherance of NIMC’s fiscal policies. He/she will also coordinate the preparation of budgets and managing budgetary controls, including performance of variance analysis.

Key Requirements: A good first degree or its equivalent in Accountancy, Finance or other related business fields. ACA, ICMA, or similar professional certification(s) in the accounting field. A master’s degree will be an advantage. A minimum of 13 years' relevant post-qualification experience and at least 6 years professional experience

HEAD, PARTNERSHIP AND SUPPORT

Role Summary: The job holder will reporting to the Head, Financial Services, the successful candidate will oversee the analyses and assist in the determination of various NIMC accreditations, licenses, fees, levies and charges. He/she will also monitor competition in the identity management sector, especially in the provision of person identification verification services. . The candidates will also co-ordinate the monitoring of business performance of all licensed service providers in the various aspects of the identity management sector.

Key Requirements: A good first degree or its equivalent in Accountancy, Finance or other related business fields. ACA, ICMA, or similar professional certification(s) in the accounting field. A master’s degree will be an advantage. A minimum of 13 years' relevant post-qualification experience and at least 6 years professional experience.

HEAD, INVESTMENT

Role Summary: The job holder will reporting to the Head, Investment Services, the successful candidate will manage NIMC's investment profile through regular communication with NIMC’s investors and their investment relations teams. To achieve this, he/she will keep abreast of market developments, new investment products and other relevant areas in the identity management markets.

Key Requirements: A good first degree or its equivalent in Accountancy, Finance or other related business fields. ACA, ICMA, or similar professional certification(s) in the accounting field. A master’s degree will be an advantage. A minimum of 13 years' relevant post-qualification experience and at least 6 years professional experience

HEAD, TREASURY SERVICES

Role Summary: The job holder will reporting to the Head, Treasury Services, the successful candidate will participate in investment management activities, regulatory review and approval of new investment initiatives, market combinations, and mergers and acquisitions. The candidate will participate in updating of procedures and related computer application systems, necessary to maintain proper records for investments.
