REQUIREMENTS & JOB DESCRIPTION
INTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS
Job Description: The job holder will reporting to the Head, Corporate Communications, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing and managing NIMC's internal communications strategy. In particular, candidates will manage internal communications channels and provide comprehensive advice on the dissemination of information within the Commission.
Key Requirements: Membership of relevant professional bodies such as NIPR will be an advantage. A good first degree in or its equivalent in Management, Administration, Public Administration, Mass Communication or other related fields. Min. of five years’ relevant professional experience or ten years’ in the Civil Service. Proven experience developing and implementing internal communications strategies.
PUBLIC RELATIONS
Job Description: The job holder will reporting to the Head, Corporate Communications, the successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out creative publicity programs to improve the public image of the Commission, as well as maintain its positive reputation. A key component of this will be to build and maintain strong relationships between the Commission and various stakeholders, including the media, government officials, investors and the local community.
Key Requirements: A good first degree or its equivalent in Management, Journalism, Administration, Public Administration, or Mass Communication. A minimum of 5years’ relevant professional experience or 10 years’ Civil Service experience. Membership of relevant professional association is an advantage. Demonstrable experience in media relations, public relations, advertising and external communications.
