REQUIREMENTS & JOB DESCRIPTION

SPECIAL ASSISTANT

Job Description: The position holder will responsible for general administrative duties in the Director General's office. Specifically, he/she will manage and coordinate day-to-day activities, including project tracking, general correspondence and liaison on behalf of the Director General.

Key Requirements: A good first degree or its equivalent in Management, Secretarial Studies, Business Administration, Public Administration Management or other related fields. A minimum of eight years’ relevant professional experience or sixteen years’ experience in the Civil Service. High ethical standards and ability to maintain confidentiality of work-related information and materials. Excellent communication, written and verbal, and interpersonal skills Good knowledge of the Identity Management Sector

TECHNICAL ASSISTANT

Job Description: The position holder will reporting to the Director General, the successful candidate will provide technical assistance on business, legal and commercial issues, as well as liaise and coordinate with other interrelated government ministries, departments, and agencies.

Key Requirements: A good first degree or its equivalent in Economics, Accounting, Business Administration or other related fields. A minimum of eight years relevant professional experience or sixteen years’ experience in the Civil Service. Excellent project management and organisational skills. Strong knowledge of the Identity Management Sector

HEAD, PROTOCOL SERVICES (SENIOR OFFICER)

Job Description: The position holder will reporting to the Head, Board Secretary, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing effective and efficient protocol services to the Commission. He/she will also oversee and provide protocol, travel and immigration services to Board and EXCO members, staff and guests of the Commission.

Key Requirements: A good first degree or its equivalent in any related fields. A minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience, with at least 2 years' relevant professional experience or 2 years experience in the Civil Service. Working knowledge and understanding of various countries’ immigrant visas processing procedures. Knowledge of travel/ticketing and immigration procedures and processes

PROTOCOL OFFICER (OFFICER)

Job Description: The position holder will reporting to Head, Protocol Services, the successful candidate will assist in providing effective and efficient protocol services to the Commission. In particular, he/she will provide support in planning, organizing, and supervising protocol, travel and immigration services to Board and EXCO members, staff and guests of the Commission.

Key Requirements: A good first degree or its equivalent in any related fields. A minimum of 1 year post-qualification experience, with at least 1 year experience in the Civil Service. Working knowledge and understanding of various countries’ immigrant visas processing procedures. Knowledge of travel/ticketing and immigration procedures and processes.
