Skill
- Recognised academic Engineering Degree in Marine/Mechanical/Civil Engineering or applied sciences.
- 10 years experience in the oil and gas industry, with at least three years in the offshore IMR field
- Experience in asset integrity management in an operation/ maintenance environment.
- Conversant with maintenance and inspection requirement of underwater substructure, pipelines, and SBM equipment.
- Conversant with the management of diver or ROV operation and the associated HSE standard and procedures.
- Ability to cascade key information to all discipline staff.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with an extensive network of underwater equipment suppliers and diving contractors
- Ability to define competence standards and requirements for discipline staff
Roles and responsibilities
- Provides and manages the Corporate (East & West) Diving and Marine maintenance service
- Manages the offshore structural and underwater services team members
- Implements the statutory and company inspection and maintenance programmes to safe guard the technical integrity of offshore facilities
- Implements the 5-yearly structural inspection, maintenance and repair plans of the offshore facilities
- Ensures all company HSE policies are understood and complied with for underwater maintenance activities
- To initiate replacement of obsolete equipment in marine equipment.
- To develop applicable MJR’s, for all relevant area teams
- Facilities improvements: Develop proposals for SPM, offshore structures units optimisation
- Technical audits: To carry out regular technical audits on production facilities to ensure safe utilisation of equipment and improve availability implement
- Data Analysis: Develop the analysis process of maintenance and condition monitoring information for marine structures against agreed targets and business needs
- Fully comply with the Contractor Management Guide where practicable
- Offshore facilities inspection, maintenance processes and standards
- Marine and export facilities lifecycle evaluation to meet business need
- Best practice implementation resulting in best class marine export facilities availability, no export loss opportunity and compliance with export targets
- Diving service contract execution
- Reduction in UOC in export marine
- Compliance with Company HSE and diving safety policies
- Compliance with SPDC maintenance strategies for SBM’s and relevant structures
