Aero Contractors Nigeria has recruitment for the position of Administrator to the function of Technical, Engineering, Airworthiness, Procurement, and Legal. The position is based in Lagos, Nigeria. The job holder will be reports to the Head of Department (as applicable).

Purpose Statement:
To provide full and efficient administrative support to as applicable to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of information between the Head of Department and employees in the Department (s)

Key Accountabilities:
  • Prioritise and sort all daily correspondence to provide an efficient response from the department, and checking all correspondence for urgent attention.
  • Day to day management of departmental diaries, arranging appointments, meetings and other engagements to the satisfaction of the Head of Department, using his/her initiative to ensure no conflicting dates and times arise.
  • Minute taking and formulation of various meetings where Company confidential business is discussed.
  • Reservation of flights and hotel accommodation for business trips within the Nigeria and abroad, including preparation of full itineraries for employees within the department on official duty.
  • Maintenance and updating of various manuals and procedures on a regular basis, Monitor the various departmental projects essential to the safe and efficient running of the operation.
  • Meeting and greeting of visitors in a friendly and efficient manner. Maintenance of all holiday, sickness and attendance records, ensuring that the relevant forms are completed and signed and submitted to the HR Department.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
This position requires a graduate with a University Degree in the Social Sciences or related discipline with at least 5 years working experience with Senior level Managers. Must have the ability to deal confidentially with personnel at all levels.

Must be able to prioritise workload, and work on own initiative and unsupervised. Ability to type at least 50 words per minute and be fully conversant with word processing packages, preferably. Pleasant and articulate personality with excellent telephone manners, excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
