The American University of Nigeria (AUN), Yola, is looking permanent Coordinator of Recruitment & General Administration into department of HR and Planning. This position is local one and opens to indigenous and/or legal residents of Nigeria.

Position Summary
The job holder oversees the recruiting, hiring, discipline, grievance, and data processing functions for staff of the university. She/he is responsible for smooth operations of department’s functions while supervising Recruitment Officer, Records Officer, and Discipline & Grievance Officer

Position Requirements:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development or a similar discipline from a recognized tertiary institution. A Master’s degree in Industrial Relations, Strategic Human Resource Management or a similar discipline will serve as an advantage.
  • At least five (5) years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication skills. Proficiency in a second language is a plus.
  • Ability to set up and maintain paper and electronic filing systems.
Other requirements, abilities for the position:
  1. Strong organizational, documentation and record keeping skills.
  2. Demonstrated ability to function effectively in a diverse and unpredictable environment
  3. Proven ability to complete work assignments with frequent interruptions and ability to meet established deadlines under pressure.

Salary and benefits are commensurate with experience and job classification as approved by the University.
