Aero Contractors Nigeria has recruitment for the position of Customer Service Agent to the function of Ground Operations. The position is based in all aero locations. The job holder will be reports to the Station Manager.

Purpose Statement:
To serve ACN’s customers in a caring and professional manner. Assist in ensuring a smooth processing of passengers and baggage, working at the frontlines at check-in, arrival and boarding gates and at the aircraft. Ensures the on time departure of aircraft, provide special assistance to customers, handle enquiries and resolve customer’s issues satisfactorily.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Ensure all communication into and out of the Office to passengers is disseminated in a timely, efficient and controlled manner.
  • Process passengers and assign seats according to customer needs(Large parties, disabled, families etc).
  • Perform random control of passenger’s tickets.
  • Provide expert assistance to our customers and ground handling Agents.
  • Queue control to expedite customer flow;assist customers with general gate and airport information.
  • Handle special cases and coordinate special assistance services.
  • In depth knowledge of Aero’s product and services:- Lounges and Clubhouses, New Routes, New on board seats, Specials and Promotions, etc.
  • Boarding coordination and reconciliation.
  • Handle basic service recovery/customer relations.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
This position requires a graduate with a first degree/HND or any related qualificationrelevant to aviation. A good knowledge of the aviation industry will be an added advantage. Others include a positive approach to issues, open dispositionability to work under pressure and readiness to work on a shift basis with irregular hours. The preferred candidate must be a team player with good inter-personal skills.Previous customer service experience and multilingual proficiency will be an advantage. The ability to communicate effectively (verbally and in writing) with all levels of people is also desirable.
