The National Institute for Medical Research (NIMR) Yaba, Lagos, hereby invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Institute's Librarian.
Salary
CONHESS 15 STEP (N 4,233,344.00 x N 113,207.00) per annum.
Qualification and Experience
- Candidates for this post must be professionally qualified and practicing librarian, registerable with the Librarians registration council of Nigeria (LRCN)
- Possess a good honours degree in any Medical Related Field and a Ph.D in Library Science/or its equivalent.
- The candidate must have contributed to scholarship by sustained productive and evidence based research and publications in reputable academic journals, not less than 10 publications are expected of the applicants for the post
- Must have at least significant supervisory and management experience in various sections of an academic/research library of at least 8 years
- Have demonstrable computer skills of using electronic database and an understanding of digital library concept.
