The National Institute for Medical Research (NIMR) Yaba, Lagos, hereby invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Deputy-Director of Research (Human Virology).
Salary
CONHESS 14 STEP 1/CONMESS 06/1 (N 3,430,218.00 x N 98,448.00) perannum.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate must possess a Ph.D in Microbiology/ its equivalent or an MBBS degree plus a registrable post graduate Fellowship of the National postgraduate Medical College or its equivalent.
Must have put in at least 4 years as a Chief Research Fellow or an equivalent job grade with a Research/Academic Establishment.
There should be evidence of continued productivity and distinguished contribution to knowledge through research and peer recognition with at least twenty (20) publications on peer reviewed journals.
Evidence of Administrative experience, competences in computer application and ability/evidence of winning research grants will also be an added advantage.
