Dangote Cement Plc is looking to recruit seasoned candidates for the position of IT Services Manager into its IT Team (Ref No: DCPIT003)

Responsibilities of IT Services Manager position
The person in this role would manage the IT Service Delivery as a single point of contact in the Group, ensuring that proper notification /escalation of service events are followed as related by event management policies. Candidate would also be responsible for ensuring that ticket management and customer/internal notification are performed on time and to standard.

Other responsibilities include:
  • Ensuring a 24x7availability for servicing if end user requests.
  • Defining service level agreements (SLAs) related to contracted services and operational level agreements (OLAs) with other user departments within the Group,
  • Ensuring that systems, processes and methodologies as specified are followed to ensure effective monitoring, control and support of service delivery.
Requirement of IT Services Manager position
  1. B.Sc/B.Eng Computer Science/Computer Engineering or related field, with at least 3 years experience in a similar role.
  2. Professional Certifications; ITIL Service Delivery is a must.
  3. Minimum of 5 years IT experience in end user support guided by OLAs’ SLAs in a large organization.
  4. Sound managerial skills as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.
