Responsibilities of Head of Programmes & Projects
- Manage all events, conferences and project activity to ensure effectiveness, adherence to objectives and budgets
- Coordinate and prioritize the Commission’s project and activities in line with the Commission’s needs
- Effectively work with project sponsor and stakeholders to complete project charter outlining scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budget and timing
Requirements of Head of Programmes & Projects
- Minimum of first degree; PMI certification is essential
- 5 years practical experience in project and event management preferably for a developmental organization involved in multi million naira projects
- Practical experience in the use of project management tools and /or software packages
- Excellent leadership, problem solving, and analytical skills
- Ability to elicit cooperation from stakeholders and other departments
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
