Society for Family Health (SFH) has published an employment notification for experienced professional who wants to make career in SFH. Society for Family Health has required an Senior Officer to HIV programmes (In-School Youth/Mass Media). There are four (4) positions for various locations in Nigeria (Abia, Kano, Yola (To be based in Yola and covering Taraba & Borno) and Gombe). Candidates are required to apply for only one State. Multiple applications will be disqualified.

Position Description:
This role will reporting to the Territorial Manager, the candidate will be primarily responsible for the coordination and implementation of In-School Youth service delivery area through Family Life HIV Education (FLHE) approach as well as monitoring of mass media activities targeted at the general population. You will work with the GF-HIV Programme Manager to develop operational and work plans for HIV prevention interventions among in-school youths and mass media monitoring in the region. The job holder will coordinate the implementation of Peer Education training and intervention among in-school youths in the region through CSOs/CBOs and will also be required to work very closely with the state's ministry of education (and other relevant stakeholders) in coordinating the implementation of FLHE in selected schools. The position holder will provide support to the research and evaluation teams to manage data collection of in-school youth activities from all implementing schools in the region.

Requirements:
  1. You must possess a first degree in Social Sciences, Humanities, Communication, Biological Sciences or its equivalent in a relevant field is required. A Masters degree will be of added advantage.
  2. You must possess a minimum of three (3) years post NYSC experience in a relevant field.
  3. You must possess excellent planning and organisational skills.
  4. You must be able to work with minimal supervision.
  5. You must have cognate skills in computer appreciation.
  6. You must possess a high level of integrity.
  7. You must have good communication and excellent interpersonal skills
