WTS Energy’s client an International Operating Company in Lagos and Port-Harcout, Nigeria is looking to recruit for the following positions:

REQUIREMENTS OF ABOVE POSITIONS

Senior Engineer, Projects (Closed on 04/06/2013)

1. Degree in an engineering or relevant technical discipline
2. Membership of a relevant Professional Institution preferred but not essential.
3. Minimum of 7 years experience in project, engineering and construction management in the upstream oil and gas industry (both onshore and offshore).
4. Previous direct experience in offshore facilities construction work, especially installation of platforms and laying pipelines, as well as working on facilities expansions where simultaneous production and construction operations are required.
5. Previous experience of working in Nigeria is preferred but not essential.
6. Previous experience working internationally is a prerequisite.
7. Managed multidiscipline teams of diverse cultural backgrounds.
8. Computer literate (including sound working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MSProject ).
9. Ability to deliver quality projects safely with due regard to the environment, on time and within budget.
10. Good understanding of Project Management systems and the application thereof.
11. Ability to work under pressure against tight deadlines whilst maintaining a high standard of consistency, accuracy and quality is essential.
12. Good understanding of the relevant engineering codes and standards.
13. Good interpersonal skills
14. Familiarity with HSES Management systems and the application thereof, in particular HAZOP’s and safety cases.
15. Fluent spoken and written English.

• Duration:One year contract (renewable)

General Manager Operations - Port-Harcourt (Closed on 11/06/2013)

1. Relevant Degree and qualifications
2. Previous experience in Fabrication in and Oil service company
3. Must possess high caliber organizational, planning, and supervising skills.
4. Must be proficient and experienced in developing comprehensive reports.
5. Must be decisive and able to make timely yet informed, sound business decisions.
6. Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills and be a clear, strategic thinker.
7. Ability to uphold the highest ethical standards. Must be an executive of high integrity.

Terms & Conditions

For this position preference will be given to Nigerian Nationals. In case expatriate candidates are selected, it is a prerequisite he/she is tasked to mentor and train a Nigerian understudy.

OIMR Vessel Company Representative - Offshore (Closed on 18/06/2013)

Chartered or company trained Engineer, Technical Diploma holder with good experience in subsea operations (Drilling/Completions and Installations) :

1. Sound background in Oil and Gas industry as an Installation specialist
2. Particular experience of Sub-sea system and of simultaneous operations in Oil Production environment
3. Good communication and Co-ordination skills, team oriented
4. Fluent in English language, good ability in reporting and electronic files handling.

Terms & Conditions

This position is opened to Nigerias only. Its a 4x4 rotation.

Head Well Services (Closed on 19/06/2013)

1. 10 years in Well Service Slick Line Operations.
2. At least HND in Engineering discipline and General College Education with Wireline 1 and 2 courses
3. Good written and spoken English and Computer Literate.

Terms & Conditions

• Competitive day rate, paid overseas by first week of the following month, net of Nigerian Income Tax.
• Business Class flights
• Travel days paid.
• Contract Duration: 12 months, renewable based on performance.
• Based in Lagos, Nigeria.
• 6/2 (weeks) rotation.
