Telnet Nigeria Limited is currently looking for candidates for the position of Phone Support Engineer to iTECO business unit in Bonny Island.

Job Code: 001/2013/ITC

Job Objectives: To provide IT Help Desk Support to NLNG Staff via telephone, email and occasionally face to face.

Responsibilities of Phone Support Engineer
  • Receive, manage and record IT help desk requests receiving either by telephone or email.
  • Dealing with and resolving helpdesk requests e.g adding users, Active Directory updating, e-mail account creation, general IT trouble shooting
  • Maintain appropriate log of equipment, users and operational activities.
  • Basic installation, configuration and support of IT equipment (PC, laptops, printers etc)
  • Work as a team member, providing support to colleagues as and when required.
  1. 1st Line IT Helpdesk experience.
  2. Good IT support experience with knowledge of basics of ITIL (incident management)
  3. General technical skills including knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, and common printer issue.
  4. Planning and organisational skills – ability to use initiative to manage and prioritise demanding workload.
  5. Strong Communication and relationship building skills
  6. Strong team player able to work effectively with diverse client groups
