ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
1. Applicants for admission into the HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA (HND) programmes will be required to have the following qualifications:
- National Diploma (ND) with a minimum of Lower Credit in the relevant field and five (5) relevant O/L credit passes at WASC, GCE, NECO and NABTEB at not more that two sittings. These credit passes must include English Language and Mathematics.
- Evidence of one year Post ND Cognate experience (Industrial Training)
- Applicants with Pass Grade in the ND will be required to have at least two (2) years Post National Diploma Industrial Experience .
- Applicants in Agricultural Engineering Technology (Post-Harvest Technology options) are required to have at least a Lower Credit Grade at National Diploma (ND) programme in any of the followings:
- Agricultural Engineering Technology
- Agricultural Technology
- Food Science Technology
Applicants for Metallurgical Engineering Technology are expected to be graduates of National Diploma in Metallurgical Engineering Technology only.
Applicants for Mining Engineering Technology are expected to be graduates of National Diploma in Mineral Resources Engineering Technology only.
Holders of ND Computer Engineering are not admissible into HND Elect/Elect. Engineering Technology and HND Computer Science Programmes.
Candidates will not be admitted in HND programmes different from those they had in their ND programmes.
It is mandatory for HND Full-Time Applicants to fill the JAMB Registration Numbers used for their ND Programmes, Only Applicants with ND JAMB Registration Numbers will be considered for admission.
2. Applicants for admission into Part-Time National Diploma (ND) programmes will be required to have a minimum of five (5) O/L Credits at SSCE, GCE, NECO, and NABTEB at not more than two sittings.
Credit Passes in Mathematics and English Language is compulsory for all Applicants seeking admission into any programme in the Polytechnic.
3. Applicants seeking admission into the Remedial Studies programme must be INDIGENES of KWARA STATE with at least five (5) passes in WASC/GCE/NECO/NABTEB which must include English Language and Mathematics at not more than two sittings.
All applications will close on 31st July, 2013.

- All applications attract a charge of Seven Thousand Five Hundred Naira (N7,500.00) exclusive of bank and other charges.
- All payments for application should be made through ‘College Pay’ using your Debit Card, Master Card, or Prepaid Card.

The application process is in two parts:

- Proceed with the filling and completion of the application forms visit at http://www.kwarapolytechnic.com/portal/application/
- Go to https://kwarapoly.waeup.org/applicants
- Select your application category and then,
- Click on the 'Register for application' button to to make payments only before proceeding.
- Fill the form that appears and ensure you provide a valid e-mail address as your username and password will be forwarded to the email address you provided.
- Then click on the 'Get login credentials' button.
- Goto your e-mail to retrieve your username and password.
- Use the username and password sent to you to login to https://kwarapoly.waeup.org/login
- Click on the 'Edit Application Record' button to complete the remaining field of the application payment form. Ensure you upload a clear 1” x 1” COLOURED passport photograph with red background in JPEG format only. NOTE that the photograph cannot be changed once uploaded.
- Click on the 'Save' button to save your payment data form.
- To make your payment, click on 'Add online payment ticket' button at the bottom of the page. Then open the ticket so created and click on the 'College Pay' button at the top left corner of the page to effect your payment using any Interswitchenabled debit/ATM card.
- Review the details of the data form before clicking on the 'Submit' button.
- After your payments, print your fee payment receipt. Note that your payment id is necessary for completion of the application process visit at http://www.kwarapolytechnic.com/portal/application/login.php.
