Etisalat Nigeria is recruiting to the position of Specialist (Sales Training) for its location Abuja in Nigeria to Indirect Channels and Corporate Sales department.

Position Summary
Plan and execute products and services training for Sales staff and 3rd party agencies, including sales canvassers and promoters, trade agents and Distribution Partners staff.

Principal Functions
  • Identify knowledge and skill gaps among Sales and Customer Care staff
  • Liaise with Customer Care and HR to deploy training on new and existing products and services, promos, CRM soft skills and CRM systems
  • Assist Customer Care in the development of training materials and deployment of Retail Sales induction and training programme
  • Develop and implement induction and training programmes for Indirect and Corporate Sales staff
  • Identify and co-ordinate trainings with HR for senior Sales staff based on training calendar to ensure achievement of Sales and company targets as well as personal development programmes
  • Develop training materials and conduct trainings for all 3rd party sales agents, i.e trade agents, Distribution Partners, trade key accounts, and SIM Registration Officers (SROs) on new and existing products and services, promos, systems and applications, processes, policies and procedures, and CRM soft skills
  • Train all Sales staff on sales policies, processes, procedures and systems
  • Manage the Sales Sharepoint portal/ library
  • Conduct periodic audits of staff (Indirect & Corporate Sales and 3rd party agencies) knowledge on products and services, promos and systems
Candidates must have the following Requirements, Experience, and Skills & Competencies:
  1. Candidate must have first degree in relevant discipline
  2. Must between three (3) and five (5) years directly relevant post-NYSC work experience in Channel Development in a telecoms sales environment
