AIDS Prevention initiative in Nigeria (APIN) is a non-governmental donor-funded organization dedicated to the prevention, treatment, care and support of diseases of public health importance in Nigeria, including HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria, among others. Since 2001 they have worked closely with key stakeholders to reduce the burden and mitigate the impact of those diseases through cutting edge, innovative & sustainable approaches.

POSITION QUALICIATION/EXPERINCE & REQUIEMENTS
1. Program Officer - Clinical Services
The successful candidate will be a member of the State Team and will provide technical support in all aspects of HIV/AIDS services at the APIN-supported programme sites in order to Integrate and improve service delivery, scale up of services and achieve programme targets in the state. S/he will also strengthen working relationships with stakeholders and build systems for programme sustainability.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
A degree in the Medical Sciences (MBBS or MB.Bch.) with a postgraduate fellowship in Internal Medicine or Paediatrics; and a minimum of eight years’ experience in HIV/AIDS prevention, care and treatment programmes; experience in MNCH, RH, Malaria and TB programmes and an MPH would be an advantage.
2. Program Officer - Clinical Services (Private Sector)
The job holder will be a member of the Private Sector Team and will provide technical support in all aspects of HIV/AIDS services at private health facility programme sites, in order to integrate and improve service delivery, scale up services and achieve programme targets in the state. S/he will also strengthen working relationship with private sector stakeholders and build systems for programme sustainability.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
A degree in the Medical Sciences (MESS or MB. Bch.), preferably with an MPH or a fellowship in relevant fields; and a minimum of eight years’ experience in HIV/AIDS prevention, care and treatment programmes: experience in MNCH, RH, Malaria and TB programmes would be an advantage.
3. Communication Officer
The job holder will have responsibility for projecting the image of the organization and implemented projects as well as manage of APIN’s website: e-bulletin and online learning community, ensuring that activities delivered are on schedule and to budget standards.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
A degree in Mass Communication, Journalism or any other relevant degree (a Master’s degree in Communication Arts will be added advantage) and at least seven (7) years work experience in a similar position, preferably with a non-governmental organization on HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis, Malaria or any other donor funded program, preferably with significant background in program management.
4. Program Officer - Monitoring & Evaluation
The job holder will be a member of the State Team and will be responsible for supporting the implementation of monitoring & evaluation (M&E) as well as quality assurance (QA) systems in collaboration with the St Team.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
An MBBS and a minimum of eight (8) years’ work experience, including at least four (4) years supporting the implementation of M&E systems as well as planning and executing program evaluation: an MPH will be an advantage
5. Executive Assistant to the CEO
The job holder will have responsibility for providing a wide range of proactive administrative and executive support to the CEO’s Office, including activity planning, documentation, communication and reporting.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
A good first degree and a minimum of four (4) years’ experience, preferably in the development sector; experience in managing confidential matters and working closely with top management is essential.
6. Program Advisor - Clinical Services - Lagos
A member of the State Team, the job holder will assist the Program Officers - Clinical Service in providing technical support in all aspects of HIV/AIDS services at APIN-supported sites, in order to integrate and improve service delivery, scale up of services and achieve programme targets in the state. S/he will also strengthen working relationships with stakeholders and build systems for programme sustainability.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience

7. Program Advisor-Clinical Services (Private Sector)

8. Program Advisor - Monitoring & Evaluation (Lagos & Ibadan)
A member of the State Team, the job holder will work with the Program Officer - Monitoring & Evaluation to support the implementation of monitoring & evaluation (M&E) and quality assurance (QA) systems, in collaboration with the Strategic Information (SI)Team.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
A Health or Social Science degree, with a minimum of four (4) years experience, including at least two (2) years supporting the implementation of M&E systems and conducting program evaluation
9. Program Advisor - Monitoring & Evaluation (Private Sector)
The job holder will be a member of the Private Sector Team and will assist the Program Officer - Monitoring & Evaluation to support the implementation of monitoring & evaluation (M&E) in all private sector engagement.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
A Health related degree with a minimum of four (4) years’ experience, including at least two (2) years supporting the implementation of M&E systems and executing program evaluation; a degree in Pharmacy is an added advantage.
10. Program Advisor- Pharmacy Logistics & SCM
Also a member of the State and Pharmacy & Supply Chain Management (SCM) Team, and the job holder will coordinate and oversee all Clinical Pharmacy activities of the program in collaboration with the office supporting the management of the general logistics of HIV/AIDS pharmaceuticals and other related commodities, as well as support the in-country supply chain system as may be necessary.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
A first degree in Pharmacy, Purchasing & Supply/Logistics, or any other relevant qualifications and minimum of four (4) years in Logistics/Supply Chain Management of HIV/AIDS commodities or in any other relevant function
11. Front Desk Associate
Reporting to the Senior Admin Officer, the Front Desk Associate will receive and attend to visitors and enquiries as well as manage all official telephone calls, mails, fax and other correspondences. S/he will also have responsibility for providing back-office secretarial support on routine basis and preparatory to planned training programmes.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
A first degree in the Social Sciences or the Humanities and a minimum of three (3) years’ cognate experience, preferably in a non-governmental organization or development agency
12. IT Associate
The job holder will have responsibility for providing a wide range of IT support services to users at the program and site offices, and for supporting the continuous functionality of all IT systems.
Minimum Qualifications and experience
A first degree or HND in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering or any other related field, preferably with relevant professional certification(s); a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in the IT function of a standard organisation, preferably an non-governmental organization
13. Database Associate
A member of the State Team, the job holder will be responsible for providing support to the program data management system in the state, in conjunction with the Strategic Information (SI) Team.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
A B.Sc. or HND in Computer Science or Information Technology, with a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in database management; experience in the use of FileMaker Pro database management software is an added advantage
