Bincom Nigeria is seeking a high qualified candidate to fill the position of Development Team Lead in Onikan, Lagos, Nigeria.
Position: Development Team Lead (Php / MySQL / CMS / ERP / Open Source)
Location: Onikan, Lagos, Nigeria
Career Level: Entry Level/ Graduate Trainee (Less than 2 years of Experience)
Position Summary
This is an experienced hire position for a PHP / MySql Development Expert , with ample knowledge in use of Open Source Tools, CMS , ERP etc , with a working experience in use of MVC and Agile development methodology , and proven ability to lead small / mid-sized project development teams.Bincom is a fast growing ICT solutions and consulting firm focused on the best use of technology (old , new , emerging, future) to solve client issues. We are focused on a global market but are headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria.
Key Requirement
- A passion for IT
- Not less than 10 previous web sites / Web Applications deployed/developed in the past 2 years .
- Vast experience in Web Application Development is required : (PHP / MySQL)
- Ability to manage small project teams / previous Project Management skills is required.
- Vast experience in use of various Open Source tools. (Zend, Drupal, Mootools)
- Basic knowledge in use of Linux Servers .
- Must have basic knowledge of Adobe Suite including Dreamweaver, Firework or other web development tools.
- Basic knowledge of Design tools (Corel Draw, Photoshop, Fireworks) or Adobe Flash would be an added advantage.
- Basic knowledge of Javascript and Javascript frameworks such as jQuery
- Must be very “Tech-Savvy” and know a little bit about anything IT
- Ability to learn new skills fast
- Previous knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio would be an added advantage.
- IT Certification is not required but is added advantage
- Applicant must be able to present previous projects done at Interview .
Education Qualification
- Minimum of an OND, HND, BSc or their equivalent from any reputable higher Institution.
- Minimum of 3 years (maximum of 10 years) of experience in a Web Development field or related industry (‘Informal’ or freelance experience may suffice).
- Applicants should not be more than 35 years of age as at December 2011
