POSITIONS DETAILS & REQUIREMENTS
1. Completion Engineer – Deepwater
Development of detailed completion operation procedures. Coordination of Reservoir Management & Production Operations interface issues. Completions performance management. Management of Upper Completions, Sub sea Completions Internal Test Tree & Facilitates Stack Up Operations at Vendors Shops / Testing Facilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with a minimum of second class Lower Division
- Deepwater Completion, Intelligent Completion, Frac pack Operations.
- Minimum of Fifteen (15) years relevant post degree work experience (includes National Youth Service) in Deepwater Completion, intelligent completion, and frac pack operations.
2. Completion Engineer - Joint Venture
Work with the Asset Team and Drilling Engineers to recommend an optimal completion type. Start a well file and obtain current / proposed well schematics matching the proposal. Look through equipment needed for job and liaise with Equipment Engineer's to place same on order.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a minimum of second class Lower Division
- Good knowledge of Completion Engineering, Gravel and frac packing.
- Minimum of Ten (10) years relevant post degree work experience (includes National Youth Service) in Completion Engineering, Gravel and frac pack operations.
3. Drilling Engineer – Deepwater
Develops and packages Deepwater drilling programs (detailed procedural steps) for each well construction project. Incorporates lessons learned from previous wells, seek input from all Agbami office and rig based drilling personnel to optimize programs for maximum efficency and optimal costs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a minimum of second class Lower Division
- Strong analytical, team work and problem solving skills.
- Minimum of Fifteen (15) years relevant post degree work experience (includes National Youth Service) as a Drilling Engineer, some of which must be in Deepwater Operations.
4. Drilling Engineer - Joint Venture
Develops packages offshore / Swamp drilling programs (detailed procedural steps) for each well construction project. Incorporates lessons learned from previous wells,optimize programs for maximum efficiency and optimal costs. Ensures well designs and procedures are consistent with sound environmental policy, company guidelines and meet all existing regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with a minimum of second class Lower Division
- Strong analytical, team work and problem solving skills.
- Minimum of Twelve (12) years relevant post degree work experience (includes National Youth Service) in drilling engineering plus previous work as field drilling engineer or drilling supervisor.
5. Field Drilling Engineer – Deepwater
Develops detailed procedural steps for each well construction project on the rig. Incorporates lessons learned from previous wells, optimize drilling programs for maximum efficiency and optimal costs. Ensures well designs and procedures are consistent with sound environmental policy, company guidelines, and meet all existing regulatory requirements. implement recommended bit and hydraulics programs for all wells.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division.
- Strong Analytical, problem solving and team work skills.
- Minimum of Twelve (12) years relevant post degree work experience (includes National Youth Service) in drilling engineering and operations, preferably some of which should be in Deepwater Operations.
6. Workover Intervention Engineer
Work with Asset team to develop programs for workovers of well for improve production. Provide onsite supervision during execution of work over operation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division.
- A good understanding of well problem analysis, experienced completion engineering, problem solving and team work skills.
- Minimum of Ten (10) years relevant post degree work experience (includes National Youth Service) in completion and workover engineering and operations.
7. Sub Sea Intervention Engineer
Plan and supervise the execution of all subsea intervention jobs. Liaise with DW asset teams to understand wellls having problems and profer suggestion to remedy well problems. Develop detail programs for field executions. Idntify equipment and service personnel for the execution of such programs. Perform supervision of execution of intervention jobs in the field.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division.
- Previous work experience as subsea engineer, deepwater work experience, problem solving, team work skills
- Minimum of Fifteen (15) years relevant post degree work experience (includes National Youth Service) in Drilling, part of which must be sub sea well intervention, deepwater engineering and operations.
8. Drillsite Manager – Deepwater
Ensures that all rig activities are conducted in accordance with contract terms and conditions, utilizing proper operating procedures and techniques for safe and environmentally sound operations. Provide first line of management of the rig operations. Provide supervisory focal point for all Rig Operations. Direct all Rig Site Operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or Higher National Diploma in Engineering or Sciences with a minimum of Second Class Lower
- Division or Lower Credit respectively.
- Deepwater operations experience, wellcontrol certification, problem solving skills, analyticalskills, and team work.
- Minimum of Fifteen (15) years relevant post degree work experience (includes National Youth Service) in any combinations of the following areas: Assistant Driller, Driller, Tool Pusher or Drilling Supervisor in an oil well drilling organization.
9. D And C Operations Manager - Joint Venture
Directs overall well execution operations and in doing so serves as an Operation Excellence Champion. Assures OE implementation, via processes implementation assurance, OE certification of required personnel, and implementation of the D&C OE process and IFO plan. Provides for overall OE performance management of the rig operations and service partners. Principal champion of Contractor performance mgmt and assures the tracking of monthly Contractor performance metrics, the provision of Contractor performance reports, and manages the contractor Performance gap closure process.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division.
- Leadership skill, Previous D&C Management experience at Drilling Superintendent, Engineering or Performance manager, Team work and Mmentoring skills.
- Minimum of Twenty (20) years relevant post degree work experience (includes National Youth Service) in drilling engineering at a Superintendent level.
10. Drilling Superintendent
Takes an active leadership role to ensure that well work activities are performed in accordance with all company HSE policies and requirements. Reinforces HSE tool usage on all aspects of day to day operations including JSA's, safety meetings, Tenets of Operations, Why Tree investigations, near miss reporting, etc. Ensures site specific SIMOPS are well planned, documented and followed during all operations.Responsible for Drilling related Government and Management communications regarding daily drilling operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division.
- Strong technical skill, Previous work as Superintendent, Problem solving skills, Team work and OE focus
- Minimum of Twenty (20) years relevant post degree work experience (includes National Youth Service) in drilling engineering at a Superintendent level.
11. D And C Performance Manager
This position will focus on developing and championing key work processes to improve reliability and efficiency in the NMA D&C group. Assure Reliable drilling and completion equipment is deliver to rig sites .Efficient operations are based on proper execution of operations that incorporate standard operating procedures, lessons learned and recommendations from previous operations. This individual will liaise with operations group and business partners to assure quality plans and standards are in place and followed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division.
- Sound technical work experience as Drilling Superintendent, Drilling Team Lead or Engineering Manager, Operation Excellence focus, Team work and Mentoring skills.
- Minimum of Twenty (20) years relevant post degree work experience (includes National Youth Service) in drilling and completion and drilling operations at a senior level.
12. Well Examiner
Perform well examination dutioes. Review well programs to ensure specification conform to wellsafe recommendation. Daily review well execution process to ensure conformity with program. Attend RA, MOC SWCPDEP session and ensure standards are met. Last authority on specifications for well execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division.
- Good understanding of Chevron D&C processes, Broad D&C experience in engineering and execution both in JV and Depwater environment. Problem solving and team work skills.
- Minimum of Twenty (20) years relevant post degree work experience (includes National Youth Service) in drilling and completion and drilling operations.
13. Workover Intervention Superintendent
Responsible for all workover operations requiring entry into well pressure envelop. Provide mentoring to well intervention engineers in the development of programs and execution of well workovers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or Higher National Diploma in Engineering with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division or Lower Credit respectively.
- Broad workover experience, completion experience, problem solving and team work skills.
- Minimum of Twenty (20) years relevant post degree work experience (includes National Youth Service) in workover completions and operations.
14. Horizons Coach
Support young horizon engineers to acquire competencies in drilling, completion engineering and well execution. Manage D&C training metric and report to Global D&C upstream as require.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division.
- Wide experience in both drilling engineering and well execution. Good mentoring skills, Analytical and problem solving skills
- Minimum of Fifteen (15) years relevant post degree work experience (includes National Youth Service) drilling engineering and well execution.
15. Subject Matter Expert (S.M.E.) Supervisor
Supervise a team of Subject Matter Experts who are responsible for coordinating drilling plans and activities in their respective technical focus areas. Act as contract owners and develop technical and commercial specifications for their areas of specialization. Responsible for contractor management in their respective diciplines
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division.
- Broard experience in Drilling engineering and execution, Preferrable past experience with a service company in Directional drilling, Wellheads and tubulars, etc.
- Minimum of Fifteen (15) years relevant post degree work experience (includes National Youth Service) in drilling engineering. Previous service company experience in one of specialized drilling services is required.
