The Dana Air fleet currently consists of Boeing MD83 aircraft which have a higher number of passenger seats and a larger cargo capacity than currently available in the country. The airline offers a two class service with 12 seats in its dedicated ‘Smart Class’ business cabin and 128 seats in its spacious ‘Traveller Class’ economy cabin.
Dana Airlines Limited is recruiting to fill the following positions for Nigeria:
- LearJet Captains
- Boeing MD80 First Officers
- Learjet First Officers
- Boeing MD80 Captain
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
LearJet Captains: - Candidate will be responsible to the Chief Pilot and the Company for safe and efficient operation of the aircraft. To join Dana Airlines as Captain, you will need:
- An ICAO ICAO/FAA/JAR Licence
- Total Flight Time in excess of 5000 Hours.
- Minimum 500 hours PIC on Bombardier Learjet 45XR.
- Class 1 Medical
- Current on Bombardier Learjet 45XR
- Good CRM skills
- Strong leadership and flight deck management skills
- Proficiency in English is mandatory.
Boeing MD80 First Officers: - Candidate will be expected to achieve the same standards as the Captain; because they are recruiting future Captains and you must be able to demonstrate good command and leadership qualities with your flying skills. To join Dana Airlines as First Officer, you will nee:
- An ICAO ICAO/FAA/JAR Licence
- 1500 Hours Total Time
- 500 PIC Hours on Boeing MD80 Series Aircraft
- Class 1 Medical
- Current on Boeing MD80 Series
- Demonstrate sound technical skills, potential leadership qualities and command
- Good CRM skills
- Exhibit leadership and flight deck management skills
- Proficiency in English is mandatory.
Learjet First Officers: - Candidate will be expected to achieve the same standards as the Captain; because they are recruiting future Captains and you must be able to demonstrate good command and leadership qualities with your flying skills. To join Dana Airlines as First Officer, you will need:
- An ICAO ICAO/FAA/JAR Licence
- 1500 Hours Total Time
- 250 PIC Hours on Boeing MD80 Series Aircraft
- Class 1 Medical
- Current on Bombardier Learjet 45XR
- Demonstrate sound technical skills, potential leadership qualities and command
- Good CRM skills
- Exhibit leadership and flight deck management skills
- Proficiency in English is mandatory.
Boeing MD80 Captain: - Candidate will be responsible to the Chief Pilot and the Company for safe and efficient operation of the aircraft. To join Dana Airlines as Captain, you will need:
- An ICAO ICAO/FAA/JAR Licence
- Total Flight Time in excess of 5000 Hours
- Minimum 1000 hours PIC on Boeing MD80 Series Aircraft
