POSITIONS DETAILS & REQUIREMENTS

1. Utilities Engineer
Prepare annual preventive maintenance schedules as per OEM recommendation for steam boilers, low and high air compressors and other utility equipment in the plant. Monitor regularly status of compressors and steam boilers and other utility equipment, recommend and/or coordinate repairing activities. Monitor implementation of preventive maintenance activities of steam boilers and LP & HP air compressors and other utility equipment in  the plant. Ensure and maintain high reliability of compressors and steam boilers, recommend spare parts needs. Prepare, coordinate and execute overhauls in the plant.

Requirements
B.Sc in Electrical/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering, or Suitable Equivalent with 6 years working experience in the field of Production Management, or Maintenance in Food, or Beverage Industry. Experience in execution of projects such as: line commissioning, annual maintenance planning. Knowledge of a bottling organization: Planning, Manufacturing, Quality, Environment, Engineering, Health and Safety.

2. Generator Manager-Electrical
To ensure reliability and availability of power generating equipment in the plants ( generators, NEPA electrical supply, CHP plants, natural gas supply, power distribution equipment); Ensure timely and regularly implementation of time based maintenance for all power generating equipment in the plants; Plan/schedule regularly technical assessment of power generating equipment , in terms of performance/efficiency and safety and implement corrective actions; Prepare and support with the contractor specialists annual electrical overhauls and/or specific electrical repairs of power generating equipment  in the plants. Contribute to reduction of power generating costs through increased efficiency of equipment; Coordinate optimum distribution of power generating equipment across the plants, including the stand by equipment

Requirements
Candidate must have B.Sc in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or suitable equivalent with 5 years experience in relevant field.

3. Refrigeration Systems Engineer
Prepare annual preventive maintenance schedules as per OEM recommendation for all refrigeration ,air handling and support units; Monitor regularly status of compressors and refrigeration equipment, recommend and/or coordinate repairing activities; Monitor implementation of preventive maintenance activities of refrigeration equipment, support units and air handling units  in all plants; Ensure and maintain high reliability of compressors and refrigeration equipment, recommend spare parts needs; Preparation, coordinate  and execution of overhauls in all plants

Requirements
B.Sc. in Electrical/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering or Suitable Equivalent with 6 years working experience. Ability to ensure reliability of refrigeration equipment and support units including all air driers on bottling lines and utilities as well as air handling units. Requires extensive travels to all plants in NBC

4. National Spare Parts Manager
Define Strategy for effective spare parts inventory management and control; Define and manage VMI (Vendor Management Inventory) stock on behalf of NBC & vendor OEMs. Ensure effective and proper reconciliation of physical and ledger stock balances i.e stock counts. Ensure that stock requirements of Thirteen (13) plants and Central Engineering are promptly and adequately satisfied with minimal production losses. Ensure standard spare parts stores arrangement in line with 5S for easy access to and identification of parts and bins. Daily monitoring of inventory levels and prompt replenishment in accordance with re-order levels. Ensure the maintenance of spare part good quality while in stock with minimal losses

Requirements
Relevant Engineering Degree or equivalent numeric certification Min. 10 years spare part management experience preferably in the bottling industry. Excellent level of computer literacy especially MS Excel. Experience of People Management within a demanding manufacturing environment with demonstrable success in using same to deliver set parameters. Proven familiarity with budgeting procedures. Good understanding of GMP, GHK, FIFO and FEFO policies. Experience of spare parts management of cluster of manufacturing plants. Experience in SAP operations Experience in major management of local and international logistics companies.

5. Steam Boiler Engineer
Prepare annual preventive maintenance schedules as per OEM recommendation for all steam boilers; Monitor regularly status of steam boilers equipment, recommend and/or coordinate repairing activities; Monitor implementation of preventive maintenance activities of steam boilers and  in  all plants; Ensure and maintain high reliability of steam boilers, recommend spare parts needs; Ensure all steam boilers and pressure vessels are inspected annually by government appointed inspectors and all have valid certification at all times

Requirements
B.Sc in Electrical/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering or suitable equivalent with 6 years experience in relevant field. Requires extensive travels to all plants in NBC

6. Automation Engineer
Ensures optimized equipment performance by maintaining / improving equipment and line controls; Improves reliability and efficiencies by ensuring optimal execution of maintenance tasks. Participates in developing business plans targeting productivity improvement and increased cost efficiency; Contributes to preparation- and controls area of responsibility related maintenance budget ensuring sufficient funds to cover all routines and initiatives reflected in strategy & operational plans. Effectively applies business performance review (BPMS, EATB) management routine; Achievement of business targets by optimal use of labour and materials; Analyses cost centre variances and investigates ways to improve cost performance; Understands and controls main cost drivers in Maintenance; Ensures full use of SAP Plant Maintenance module to be able to monitor cost and execution of maintenance activities

Requirements
University degree in Electrical/Controls/Electronics/Automation Engineering required 4-5 years working experience in the field of Automation in Industry dealing with Siemens & Omron PLCs, Danfoss, Omron, Siemens variable fre drives VFDs, sensors, PLC programming skills and ability to effectively read and understand wiring plans plus PLC user programs and comments thereof.

7. Plant Engineer
Leads a technically thorough team of maintenance controllers and technicians to deliver on all KBIs to ensure line availability and reliability. Scoping and delivering cost saving ideas and improvements to manufacturing methodologies within the business. Defines root cause and implements solutions to equipment and process related non conformance situations. Uses standard manufacturing maintenance, engineering and project management tools and processes to enable special improvement projects to be delivered on time, to cost, to quality to ensure identified benefits are released. From hands-on experience and working with QA/Prod, helps in defining process equipment requirements and specifications based on process requirements, safety requirements and internal customer needs. Assists in determining the budget to support maintenance requirements. Proposes and implements formal and OJT for associates helping to grow them.  Measures/evaluates equipment efficiencies, downtime and assist in development of maintenance; Mentors and assists MCs in best practices to develop future successor.

Requirements
Relevant Engineering Degree or equivalent Diploma (advanced technical degree). Min. 7 years experience in a technical position and demonstrable management abilities. Experience in improvement project management tools like Kaizens, 5Ys, AFF, DMAIC, FITs etc within a demanding manufacturing environment with demonstrable success in delivering to costs, quality and time parameters. Proven familiarity with budgeting including R.E procedures. Familiarity with the introduction of new lines/ cost reduction initiatives within a manufacturing environment. Good understanding and experience of current manufacturing methodologies. Understanding of GHK and GMP. Experience in major automated bottling line operations. Ability to identify, raise and push for approval appropriate CAPEX wish list for engineering equipment upgrades. Understanding of business case preparation and basic financial analysis tools.

8. Maintenance Planner
Establishes monitors and reinforces control on maintenance strategy execution; Actively participates in organization and scheduling of annual overhaul of production lines and facilities; Improves efficiencies by increasing preventative maintenance across the plant and to minimize breakdowns and reduce mean time between failures. Ensures optimal spare parts and maintenance materials inventory management; Schedules routine maintenance activities taking into consideration production program and monitors execution ( using SAP where appropriate); Schedules condition based maintenance activities taking into consideration production program and monitors execution (using SAP where appropriate); Optimizes the availability of assets to operation; Evaluates effectiveness of corrective actions using all available data; Maintains equipment tree and its components in the Business Information Systems (SAP); Creates and ensures closure of notifications and work orders using SAP PM; Tracks spare parts orders and ensures timely delivery using SAP; Monitors maintenance budget and communicates variance effectively; Ensures full usage of SAP Plant Maintenance Module to monitor cost of spare parts and maintenance activities

Requirements

9. Systems Engineer
Establishes monitors and reinforces control on maintenance strategy execution in plant in alignment with country strategy; Improves efficiencies by increasing preventative maintenance across the plant and to minimize breakdowns and reduce mean time between failures. Develops business plans providing productivity improvement and stretchy targets for cost efficiency; Contributes to preparation and controls annual plant maintenance budget ensuring sufficient funds to cover all routines and initiatives reflected in strategy & operational plans. Ensures optimal spare parts and maintenance materials inventory management; Actively participates and ensures the implementation of various infrastructure or process optimization projects in Production; Effectively applies business performance review management routine; Prepares, presents and interprets Maintenance KBI's, makes recommendations which result in increased productivity and efficiency; reduces cost and improves customer satisfaction; Ensures full use of SAP Plant Maintenance module to monitor cost and execution of all maintenance activities in plant. Ensures full use of SAP Plant Maintenance module to monitor and control Spare Parts inventory and availability.

Requirements

10. Maintenance Controller
Annual, Quarterly, Weekly and daily Plans which include; execute preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation maintenance. Plan and coordinate maintenance stoppages with production planner (co-ordinate maintenance down time with production times); Ensure job cards are issued to specific technicians at specific times to conduct planned maintenance activities as per schedule. Ensure allocated work matches the skills levels of the technicians to whom it is allocated. Ensure stores are informed of spares, tools and materials required ahead of time. Ensure periodic checks conducted on all maintenance activities. Ensure standard engineering practices are developed, documented & implemented. Ensure root cause analyses are carried out on breakdowns and properly documented. Plan and coordinate coaching for technicians where necessary. Ensure job cards checked for completion, signed off & captured on SAP.

Requirements
University Degree/ HND in Engineering At least 5 years maintenance experience including supervision preferably in bottling industry. Experience in people management.
