POSITIONS RESPONSIBILITIES/QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

1. Head of Women's Category (Fashion)
  • Work closely with the brand strategy and marketing team to ensure deep alignment  and support Develop and maintain a robust working knowledge base of industry,  the categories as well as relevant customer insights in order to deepen category  and product relevance that builds an overall competitive edge.
  • Outstanding networks in the local and international apparel Suppliers/Manufactures retail/Footwear industry.
  • Ability to drive and motivate a team.
  • Strong business acumen and merchant thinking.
  • The ability to build strong supplier relationships and extensive experience with  local and global supplier networks essential.
  • Strong Leadership skills.
  • Sound knowledge of online and/or retail environment.
  • Solid planning and organizational skills.
  • A detailed approach to work.
Qualifications/Requirements
  1. A relevant Degree or Diploma would be advantageous (Fashion Design, Clothing Design, Consumer Science).
  2. Competency in all computer packages, i.e. Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint.
  3. Apparel brand buying and experience minimum five years at a reputable retailer or supplier.
2. International Buyer (Fashion, Women's Clothing)
  • Work closely with the brand strategy and marketing team to ensure deep alignment  and support, develop and maintain a robust working knowledge base of industry,  the categories as well as relevant customer insights in order to deepen category  and product relevance that builds an overall competitive edge.

  • Proofreading material to verify copy -editing and other mark-up has been processed (checking for completeness of data, verifying changes made to e-files and accurate formatting).
  • Creating and formatting files for publication based on manufacturing guidelines.
  • Ingesting all footage
  • Library management (footage)
  • When necessary, creating television commercials both short and long form.
  • Liaising with Marketing Manager and Production Coordinator on all edits from base to final.
  • Follow or help develop brand guidelines/ look and feel.
  • Assigning Key numbers and tracking ads performance through call centre results.
  • Uploading edited footage to networks/ stations.
  • Organize photo shoot for external production requirements.
