KSBC Advisory Partners Limited - Our Client's core operation is in the Marine segment of the Oil and Gas Upstream Industry. Consistently in the last 15 years our client has owned and operated various vessels for the servicing of the operations of the International Oil Companies in Nigeria. As a result of strategic repositioning and its desire to expand its business aggressively, we seek immediate employment of the following exceptional individuals to join its existing team.

KSBC Advisory Partners is recruiting to fill the following positions:
  1. Business Development and Marketing Manager
  2. Financial Controller (FC)
  3. General Manager (GM)
  4. Head Internal Controls and Systems
  5. Human Resource Manager
1. Business Development and Marketing Manager - Port Harcourt, Rivers

Responsibilities
The Business development and Marketing Manager shall concentrate on developing new revenue streams from new products and services through identification of project opportunities and analysis of the marketplace for pertinent strategic opportunities while optimizing income from existing lines through innovative marketing and rapid exploitation of changing customer needs. Responsibilities include, identifying potential clients, and working with senior management to position the firm in new markets and business opportunities.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Successful candidates must have exceptional communication, presentational, and writing skills.
  • Individual must be between the ages of 30-50 years with a minimum of 10 years experience; 5 of which should be in Business Development and / or Marketing.
  • A Bachelors degree in Engineering or Management Sciences is required.
  • A quality MBA will be an advantage.
2. Financial Controller (FC) - Port Harcourt, Rivers

Description
The incumbent:

Is the Chief Financial and Principal Accounting Officer of Company and directs the daily operation of the Company's finance function, including treasure, budgeting, auditing, tax, accounting, capital purchasing, investor relations, risk management, and long-range forecasting and insurance activities. Establishes company, accounting systems and procedures and ensures they are up-to-date and in compliance with all applicable statutory and regulatory requirements. Prepares and issues quarterly and annual audited financial statements and reports. Manages and tracks Company's funds, assets and investments and periodically issues reports on its current as well as projected financial stability /condition. Establishes and maintains contacts with auditors, actuaries, financial institutions, government agendas; joint venture partners, and counterparts. Identifies sources of financing to expand the scope of Company's business opportunities. Negotiates project financing; structures and documents financial packages and agreements.

Responsibilities
The Financial Controller directs the day-to-day financial activities of Company and has responsibility for overall company financial polities and objectives.
He/she ensures the security and stability of Company's assets and funds and identifies and secures additional financial resources to promote Company's growth and business diversification

Qualifications and Skills
  • ACA/ACCA with strong background in finance, plus a minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible financial management experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Current accounting standards and procedures, knowledge of internal controls and procedures for financial reporting as is necessary for compliance with procedures and standards
3. General Manager (GM) - Port Harcourt, Rivers

Responsibilities
This role is for a seasoned and qualified professional with visionary leadership skills in business development, project management, organizational development, strategic planning and change management in managing the company's operations; willing and eager to take on risky and difficult assignments and driven by results.
The candidate must be an accomplished leader and team builder with strong and consistent record of improving operational performance of companies.
Has track record of demonstrated problem-solving capabilities with workout and turnaround skills enabling new business projects to be implemented.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Ability to lead, plan and manage change.
  • Very good business development skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • The ability to set priorities.
  • Must be between the ages of 35-55 years with a minimum of 15 years experience, 5 of which should be in a senior management position.
  • Recognized Bachelors Degree in Engineering and clearly a quality MBA would be on added advantage.
4. Head Internal Controls and Systems - Port Harcourt, Rivers

Responsibilities
Shall be responsible for setting up the internal control procedures and Systems of the company.
Conduct regular and on the spot audits of financial controls and management systems for corporate policy and legal compliance.
Conduct annual review of fiscal and investment management policies and procedures and recommend corrective measures when necessary.
Conduct audit of automated financial systems to ensure correct data represents corporate financial health.
Ensure any identified data error, unaccountable transactions, faulty or inefficient processes are duly communicated to management while proffering suitable solutions and control measures.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelors degree or HND in accounting.
  • Qualified Chartered Accountant.
  • Possession of MBA will be an advantage.
  • Computer literacy and familiarity with automated accounting systems or ERPs.
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
  • Must be vision minded, thorough and arithmetic oriented, conscientious and calculative with a high level of accuracy.
  • Must be a person of Integrity and ethically guided with willingness to disclose potentially illegal, criminal and unethical business practices or data.
  • Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Human Resource Manager - Port Harcourt, Rivers

Description
Maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions far all positions.
Maintains organizational staff by establishing a recruiting, testing, and interviewing program; counseling managers on candidate selection; conducting and analyzing exit Interviews; recommending changes.
Maintains a pay plan by conducting periodic pay surveys; scheduling and conducting job evaluations; preparing pay budgets; monitoring and scheduling individual pay actions; recommending, planning, and implementing pay structure revisions.
Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees; scheduling management conferences with employees; hearing and resolving employee grievances; counseling employees and supervisors.
Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records; representing the organization at hearings.
Maintains management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
Maintains and enhances the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in HR Management or related discipline required; Master's Degree preferred.
  • At least ten years of professional experience across all HR disciplines.
  • Professional certificate required; NIPM/CIPD certification preferred.
