POSITIONS DESCRIPTION

Egina is a deep offshore development located in block OML130 in Nigeria operated by TOTAL Upstream Nigeria Limited. The development is located 150 km from the coast in 1550 m water depth and includes a spread moored FPSO of 240 POB, associated offloading calm buoy, 2 productions loops connecting six subsea manifold with 21 production wells and 3 injection lines connecting 23 water injection wells. A 20km gas export line ties in to the Akpo export pipeline to Amenam.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Commissioning Manager
The job holder will be representing Commissioning within the Field Operations team for the Egina Development Project. He will supervise all activities related to Commissioning. He will be the focal point within the Project for the entities involved in Commissioning in Headquarters, and other Project Work Packages

Requirements
  • MSC degree in Engineering or relevant discipline
  • Minimum of 15 years experience in operational Exploration and Production activities including a minimum of 10 years in commissioning activities at a Senior Level, with proper level of technical understanding of all the disciplines involved (field operations, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control systems, etc.)
  • Experience in
  • Commissioning activities of offshore oil and gas production, process facilities, utility systems, marine equipment etc.
  • Risk analysis, Safety of persons and facilities
  • Personnel management and evaluation with emphasis on management of multicultural teams.
  • Maintenance methods, Metering, Inspection techniques.
  • Production, oil and gas processes, produced water treatment and disposal.
  • Project Management, Planning and Scheduling.
  • Projects / works, drilling, logistics and Simultaneous Operations.
  • Budget and Cost control management, requests for Proposals, Contracts and Contract management.
  • Regulatory framework of the Group / Countries.
  • Fluent in English, with French an added advantage
  • Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment.
2. Contracts Coordinator

Requirements
  • Chartered Engineer with knowledge and experience of commercial, insurance & legal issues.
  • In-depth contracts expertise (10 to 15 years minimum) in Exploration & Production environment and experience of offshore projects.
  • Good all-round knowledge of petroleum industry equipment, specifications, manufacture, operation and certification requirements
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the legal aspects associated with procurement
  • Comprehensive understanding and working appreciation of the main supply chain issues including the application and optimisation of an integrated business system (SAP)
  • Good knowledge of freight forwarding activities and relevant procedure including those for import/export and customs regulations.
  • Good knowledge of stock management.
  • Good team spirit and open communication skills.
  • Well organized, diligent and proactive.
  • Fluent in English.
3. Contracts Manager
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Law or Engineering, ideally with a post-graduate qualification in a complementary area
  • 15 to 20 years practical expertise in Exploration & Production environment in preparation and negotiation of complex technical contracts, preferably in the offshore and in a project context
  • Demonstrable understanding of the technologies existing within an oil and gas operator
  • Fluent in English
4. Cost Estimation Coordinator
The job holder shall ensure a high coordination with all package managers, project control team (Contract & Procurement, Planning) and with the subsidiary (Finance, Accounting, and Joint-Venture).

Requirements
  • Engineering, Commercial or Finance degree
  • 10 years experience in Oil and Gas Exploration and Production and 5 years management on an international Oil and Gas project.
  • Good knowledge of SAP management system.
  • Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment and used to communication with international technical staff.
  • Skills to constantly look for improvement of efficiencies and simplified business processes, and the ability to implement these effectively.
  • High level of coordination skills in order to gather cost data from project leaders, accounts and others.
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, including the confidence and ability to present information effectively to any audience.
5. Deep Offshore Operations Expert

Requirements
  • MSc in engineering that relates to industry at large and preferably to Petroleum industry activities (such as Mechanical Engineering, Wells & Drilling Engineering, Controls, Ocean & Subsea Engineering, preferred)
  • Ideally the candidate will be also a chartered Engineer (such as CEng MICE) or similar education level
  • Bachelors Degree (BSc) in Engineering will also be given consideration for the position.
  • 10 years experience in operation Exploration and Production activities linked to Deepwater technology and integration of Subsea Production Systems and equipments.
  • A sound oil & gas multi-discipline technical background in deep offshore production facilities engineering & construction, complemented by general knowledge/experience concerning the integration of subsea system surface equipment (risers, umbilicals, subsea control systems, hydraulic systems, etc) with the surface production facilities.
  • A good understanding of overall and detail planning management is essential
  • Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment and communicate with international technical expats
6. Development and Planning Expert

Requirements
  • Relevant Engineering degree.
  • 15 years experience in large Oil & Gas projects with at least 5 years experience in Planning.
  • Very good knowledge of Project Planning practices and of PRIMAVERA sofware (version 6).
  • Strong technical, analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
  • Good communication skills
7. Drilling and Completion Co-Ordinator

Requirements
  • Graduate degree in a relevant Engineering discipline
  • Professional experience of 15 years in Exploration and Production with exposure to deep offshore drilling issues and 5 years in management of drilling teams. Good knowledge of codes & standards of Oil & Gas industry.
  • Aptitude to offshore work and multicultural environment.

8. Expert Technical Assistant

Requirements
  • Degree in Petroleum Engineering.
  • Oil & Gas multi-discipline technical background in deep offshore production.
  • 15 years experience in operational Oil & Gas activities including a minimum of 10 years in Field Operations. Experience in Risk analysis, HSE, procedures.
  • Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment and used to communication with international technical staff and experts.
  • Sense of organisation, analytical skills, leadership, reliability and work confidentiality,
  • Good capacity to communicate.
  • Ability to convince, to train and to listen.
  • Sense of creativity and of initiative.
9. FPSO Manager

Requirements
  • Degree in relevant Engineering discipline.
  • Professional Expertise in Process Engineering major with over 15 years of relevant experience in Exploration & Production in major Engineering Offshore Oil and Gas Projects.
  • Proved aptitude to operational management and ability to effectively coordinate engineering construction discipline leads.
  • Ability to effectively coordinate engineering discipline leads and work as part of a team
  • Language: Fluent English.
10. Inspection Offshore

Requirements
  • Graduate degree in an engineering discipline applicable to scope of activities with MSc or equivalent adequately completed by a recognised Quality Assurance or Quality Management qualification with formal training in ISO 9001:2000.
  • A minimum of 10 years relevant experience in EPC projects for the Oil & Gas sector is required with at least 5 years of continuous experience associated with Quality Management in Quality Assurance and Quality Control.
  • Experience in Deepwater and installation projects will be also valuable.
  • Good knowledge of relevant ISO, API, NACE and ASTM standards. Previous experience with (and fully conversant with) TOTAL general specifications will be also valuable.
  • Good sense of communication, organization, ability to prioritize activities, to identify critical aspects, to summarize and present complex issues including transverse managerial and technical matters.
  • Knowledge of Metallurgy, Welding, Destructive and NDE.
  • Fluent in English both verbally and in writing.
11. Installation Manager

Requirements
  • Bachelor Degree in relevant Petroleum Engineering discipline.
  • 10 years experience as Lead Engineer in related position within Exploration and Production activities e.g. turbines, compressors, motors, generators, and etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of Exploration and Production codes & standards and offshore commissioning.
  • Experience in FPSO, or offshore facilities, is preferred.
  • Language: Fluent English.
  • Computer literate.
  • Strong leadership skills and good communication skills.
  • Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment.
  • Good analytical skills.
12. Laboratory Technologist

Requirements
  • HND degree in Chemistry or other discipline which involves laboratory measures and analysis.
  • 5 years in an oil production laboratory. Good knowledge of codes & standards of Oil & Gas industry.
  • Experience in FPSO or offshore facilities. Aptitude to offshore work and multicultural environment. Aptitude to mobility (locally and internationally).
  • Fluent in English
13. Medevac Medic
To provide medical treatment to site personnel, ensure a high level of personnel health and hygiene and that medical facilities and equipment are properly maintained and available for use at all times.

Requirements
  • S.R.N or NRN, BSc Nursing, in addition Accident/Emergency Nursing and Orthopaedic Nursing.
  • 10 years practical experience in the offshore oil and gas industry.
  • Aptitude to work offshore, aptitude to International mobility, experience of cultural diversity. Fluent in English and good understanding of French.
14. Offshore Installation Manager
To provide medical treatment to site personnel, ensure a high level of personnel health and hygiene and that medical facilities and equipment are properly maintained and available for use at all times.

  • Degree in relevant discipline
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in operational Exploration and Production activities linked to deepwater technology and Subsea Production Systems.

15. Project Coordinator

Requirements
  • Degree in Process engineering, Mechanical engineering or in a relevant engineering discipline MANDATORY with MSc or equivalent that relates to industry at large and preferably to Petroleum industry activities (such as Mechanical Engineering, Wells & Drilling Engineering, Controls, Ocean & Subsea Engineering, preferred);
  • Ideally the candidate will be also a chartered Engineer (such as CEng, MICE)
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in operational Exploration and Production activities linked to Deepwater technology and Subsea Production Systems.
  • Works with responsibilities including medium to large size team management, engineering experience for large size EPCI-C projects with some years of experience as Project Engineer
  • Good motivational skills. Sound organisation ability and respect for planning and budgets. Good knowledge of international design codes / standards and general specifications
  • Good knowledge in pipelines, risers, structural, hydrodynamics and flow-assurance

16. Project General Manager

Requirements
  • Engineering degree in any of Oil & Gas key engineering disciplines. Training in resource management a plus
  • Many years of experience in offshore environment, deep-water issues, safety, engineering, construction, commissioning, installation and hook up, contract negotiation, cost control, planning, contractor management offshore.
  • Professional experience minimum of 20 years overall experience in oil & gas facilities, engineering, construction and projects.
  • Project Management experience minimum of 10 years
  • Knowledge of French will be very useful
  • Good level of English necessary
  • Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment
17. Subsea Expert

Requirements
  • Degree in Subsea engineering, Mechanical engineering or in a relevant petroleum engineering discipline;
  • Minimum of 10 years in Subsea Production Systems. Demonstrable knowledge of intra SPS discipline Interfaces.
  • Strong knowledge in codes & standards and offshore commissioning.
  • Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment and used to communication with international technical staff.
  • Language: English fluent.
18. Well Performance Expert

Requirements
  • Degree in the relevant petroleum engineering discipline (Drilling and Completion).
  • 10 to 15 years in Well Performance in Deep Water context. Strong knowledge in Drilling/Completion codes & standards.
  • Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment and used to communication with international technical staff and experts.
  • Fluent in English both verbally and in writing
