  • Provide operational support to the Principal Investments team across the entire investment lifecycle
  • Work with the Principal Investments team and portfolio company identify and drive key operational improvement initiatives
  • Work closely with the CardinalStone Business standards and processes across portfolio companies, and  ensure adherence to these processes
  • Define the scope, develop key operational initiatives identified across portfolio companies
  • Prepare reports and provide other documentation as required on progress of key initiatives
  • Develop and track budgets for operational initiatives as required
  • Work closely with and report directly to the divisional head executive management team of CardinalStone on assigned projects and other strategic and operational initiatives as assigned
  • Directly oversee the performance and development of analysts, interns and fellows working on divisional projects  as required
  • Support other activities across the firm as required


  • Minimum of a Bachelors degree from a top tier university. Degree in such fields as Engineering, Finance or Accounting preferred.  Post Graduate Degree is an added advantage.
  • 5 – 8 years work experience, including gene mining, consumer goods, agricultural o processing component
  • Experience with a top tier consulting firm performing process redesign, organizational change initiatives is an added advantage


The candidate should be able to demonstrate the following skills :

  • Project Planning , Reporting and control
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and in written)
  • Strong interpersonal skills, maturity and ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Working knowledge e of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
