1. Transmission Engineer - Lagos
Key Responsibilities
Be responsible for the delivery and maintenance of the transmission network.
Communicates with customers about transmission network requirements, formulates network optimization, cutover, and rectification solutions, and delivery and implementation solution.
Training channel partners about transmission network and products and improve their technical capabilities.
Requirements
Academic Qualification: Degree in Electrical Engineering with specialization in telecom or equivalent degree
Experience: Have 3+ years' work experience in the transmission area.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Have a proficient command of the installation, commissioning, and routine maintenance of DWDM and MSTP products.
Be proficient in using U2000/NCE, routine maintenance, and inspection.
Have a basic command of the features, service planning and configuration, and service cutover MOP of DWDM and MSTP products.
Have a basic command of the SD process and CS process for routine maintenance of the transmission network and products.
Good communication skills, service awareness, teamwork spirit, and good execution ability.
Experience in project delivery and network maintenance of transmission network products, including WDM or SDH/MSTP products is priority
HCIE-Transmission or HCIP-Transmission certificates is priority
2. Optical Network Delivery Engineer - Lagos
Key Accountabilities
Ability to work efficiently in a team.
Strong membership, and experience with a variety of telecom projects.
Familiar with MPLS-TP transmission principle, able to provision/trouble-shooting VPLS/PWE3 service.
Familiar with Optical Architecture, and Protocols.
I can get the order and with the ability to control and follow up with configuration/trouble-shooting with on-site engineers.
Able to do the network troubleshooting independently.
Familiar with Huawei U2000/NCE.
Assist on correct procedures in following up issues, the reason for the fault occurrences, and their prevention mechanism.
Good Telecommunication knowledge with emphases on Huawei Transmission Network, especially for DWDM& SDH ASON.
Assist on optical network technical interface.

Requirements
Academic Qualification: Degree in Electrical Engineering with specialization in telecom or equivalent degree
Professional Qualification: Experience in DWDM/SDH Network, - this should include strong experience with Huawei
Experience: At least working on OTN/SDH in the past 2 years, such as optical network cut-over, data configuration /commissioning/ troubleshooting, and optimization.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Excellent English is written and spoken communication skills. Excellent interpersonal communication skills. Ability to work efficiently in a team.
International work and multi related project experience are desired.
Know to configure/modify ODUk, VC4, PWE3/VPLS service.
Good communication with other departments in the project has a base knowledge of another department.
Must be willing to travel for long periods away from the base
Be on standby 24/7 for remote support as required.
Be responsible for Risk management.
Be responsible for Requirements management.
Ability to work day, evening or night shifts and holidays as required
Ability to multi-task and work in a high-pressure environment.
3. GSM HW RNO Engineer - Lagos
Key Accountabilities
Identify DL/UL path imbalance issues and resolution
Main/Diversity issues resolution
Hardware issue identification and resolution
ACLs Analysis and troubleshooting
New sites configuration check and correction
External NBRs definition correction
Perform soft expansions
Grow degrow plan on the base of utilization
U2000/U2020 CFG/Logs/Results data collection
Overshooting cells optimization
Sector swap identification and correction
Academic Qualification
University degree in telecommunication or Electrical/ Electronics Engineering.
Experience: Over 3 years’ experience in radio network planning and optimization
Key Skills:
Excellent team spirit with good communications and interpersonal skills.
Ability to cooperate and work with peoples from different cultures
Fluent oral and written English French
