The Nigeria Center for Disease Control announced recruitment for the post of Procurement Consultant (Redisse Project).
NCDC now invites qualified individual candidates to apply for the position for Procurement Consultant -Redisse Project. Interested candidates should provide information through their syllabus that the position requires qualification and experience.
Qualification and Experiences
Applicant must have a degree in Accounting, Management, Industrial Engineering, or Project Management, and previous experience as a Procurement Consultant for World Bank assisted projects or similar multilateral institution environments such as ADB or similar organizations.In addition, there is World Bank training on the purchase of goods, functions and consulting services, and
Previous experience in preparing bid documents for large works/freight contracts, and
Previous experience with the job description described above.
Job Description
Specific duties for this position will include the following:
Advisory Services on Procurement of Goods and Works in the following areas:
Preparation of Project Work Plans and Procurement Schedules for Goods and Works in accordance with the World Bank Procurement Framework and Regulations.
Prepare Technical Specifications for Goods
Prepare bill of Quantities/ technical specifications for Works
Solicit Bidders/Vendors through drafting and Advertising of IFB
Prepare Bidding Documents
Advisory Services on Procurement of Services:
Preparation of Project Work Plans and Procurement Schedules for Services under QCBS, QBS, CQ, IC, etc.
Preparation of Terms of Reference and clear with World Bank
Support the process of soliciting qualified Consultants through drafting, seeking No Objection of the World Bank and Advertising of EOI
Support the organization of Pre-Proposal Conference where necessary
Preparation of Request for Proposals for No Objection of World Bank
Advisory Services on Implementation Supervision:
Develop and discuss alternative solutions to identified problems.
Explore the most viable solution and discuss this with the FMF (PCU)
Assist in the application of the agreed corrective measures
Provide hands-on training to the PCU on implementation matters covering procurement, disbursements, report writing, etc.
