1. Head - Internal Audit / Control
Roles and Responsibilities
- Ensure adequate controls to mitigate risks and conduct audit reviews.
- Ensure that transactions are properly authorized.
- Ensure that the bank's assets are properly secured and adequate insurance cover is available.
- Ensuring timely report to the Board of Directors and Audit Committee.
- Identifying weaknesses in internal control systems and managing advice on key risks and controls.
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Board of Directors.
Qualifications
- Minimum of HND / B.Sc in accounting;
- Professional qualifications such as CIBN / MCIB or ACA / ICAN would be an added advantage;
- Efficiency is mandatory in the use of Microsoft packages, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint and etc.
Experience
The applicant should have minimum of 5 years of experience in audit/control jobs, especially in the microfinance banking sub-sector.
2. Head - IT / MIS
Roles and Responsibilities
- Contact our business and technology stakeholders to understand the direction of our business, to ensure they are notified by our technology guidelines;
- Establish architectural specifications to ensure feasibility, functionality, and integration with existing software systems;
- Demonstrates critical understanding of technological architecture, data architecture, infrastructure and IT functions;
- Identify the appropriate software architecture based on the requirements and design elements in the system specifications;
- Record architecture in a software architecture document using and using Unified Modeling Language (UML);
- Maintain and develop software architecture documents based on system needs and industry trends and technologies;
- Analyze risks and report problems meeting system requirements;
- Provide supportive information to help engineers specify building systems;
- Assistant software designer/implementer with detailed software design specification for build;
- At the forefront of the review process for software architecture documents;
- Perform software version controls and maintain compilation schedules periodically;
- Participate in the system specification review process to ensure system requirements can be translated into a valid software architecture;
- Compliance with all applicable product development processes. Maintains code with effective software design as well as implementation and/or responsibilities and obligations;
- Ensures the overall integrity of the software architecture and gives legitimacy against system specifications;
- Integrate experience with internal and external product design integration.
Eligibility:
- Minimum HND / BSc in Computer Science;
- Professional qualifications such as CIBN / MCIB or any relevant IT / MIS would be an additional benefit;
- Proficiency in using Microsoft packages, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc., is mandatory.
Experience:
Applicants must have a minimum of five years of experience in the banking industry, especially in the IT / MIS job, especially in the small banking sub-sector.
